The Huawei Ascend Mate is a massive phone coming in at 6.1-inches. The Huawei Ascend Mate is rocking Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and the screen is optimal for those who enjoy that feature. On the other side of the coin, the iPhone 5 features a 4-inch screen and iOS 6. Clearly both phones have a certain market, but the Ascend Mate does not have an official U.S. price. One thing Huawei stated at CES 2013, was that the Ascend Mate will hit the Chinese market before it comes to the United States. Does it have all the glits and glam to beat out the beloved iPhone 5? Can it provide stable hardware on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to show users that having a bigger phone is not necessarily a bad thing? A competitor is the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, in which a hands-on demo in the size field will be given once the device hits the U.S. market.
